The Information Revolution and Citizen Digital Facilitation
The information revolution is changing everything about the world we live in, including the practice of development. Information and communications technologies (ICT) are now a basic component of development and civil society actions and initiatives, not a luxury.
Citizen Digital Facilitation has decided to stand up to this challenge and assist in the empowerment of civil society organizations by using these new technologies, and different modalities of capacity building.
CDF engages in international and local networking to implement its various activities such as processing, producing and disseminating information, capacity building (including E- Learning), and creating and facilitating spaces for political dialogue and conflict resolution / transformation.
Using digital technologies CDF engage, support and facilitate civil society initiatives related to the promotion of dialogue, consensus building, conflict transformation, and citizen’s diplomacy with governments, the private sector and multilateral organizations.
As citizens we have chosen to be part of the digital information revolution to change the world into a better place for all.
