Forum for Citizen Diplomacy

Foro de Diplomacia Ciudadana, (Forum for Citizen Diplomacy). In 2003 and 2004 CDF consultants, in agreement with Human Rights Internet, constructed and managed the website for this Forum. The Foro has about three dozens regional networks interested in strengthening the influence of civil society in multilateral institutions such as the OAS and the UN. More information

Latin American and Caribbean Platform for Conflict Prevention

CDF consultants assisted Regional Coordinator of Economic and Social Research (CRIES) and other regional NGOs in the creation of the first Latin American platform for conflict prevention (2002 -2005). The platform was a regional player to the 2005 United Nations conference on conflict prevention.

Santiago plus Five

Creation and facilitation with three other regional networks of the Santiago Plus Five process (2004-2006). The S+5 initiative aimed at the creation of a regional space for constructive dialogue between regional civil society organizations, governments and multilateral organizations for the eradication of racism, xenophobia and intolerance from Latin American and Caribbean countries. The process included two major conferences hosted by the governments of Chile and Brazil.

Diplomacia Ciudadana, (Citizen Diplomacy)

CDF produced an educational CD with documentation on citizen diplomacy (2004) for the Regional Coordinator of Economic and Social Research (CRIES). This initiative was a complementary effort to provide information and resources to the Foro de Diplomacia Ciuadadana.
