About us
Citizen Digital Facilitation –also known as Facilitación Digital Ciudadana- was officially registered with the Ministry of Industry of Canada as an international non governmental and non profit organization on October 17, 2000 in accordance with the provisions of the Canada Corporations Act.
The founders of CDF believed that the creation of this international NGO based in Canada could be a significant contribution in assisting the empowerment of citizens’ organizations and in strengthening their capabilities of exercising citizen diplomacy in various multilateral organizations and locally. Although the CDF has an international and global scope, it focuses its work on Latin America, the Caribbean, and their respective Diasporas. (For more details see Programmes and Projects)
