Regional Coordinator of Economic and Social Research

Regional Coordinator of Economic and Social Research (Coordinaroda Regional de Investigaciones Económicas y Sociales, CRIES)  was established in Managua, Nicaragua, in 1982 as a network of research centers, NGOs, professional associations and foundations. CRIES promotes social and economic research in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on the basis of civil society participation. It develops its work on the principle that the institutional consolidation of democracy demands an active commitment and permanent monitoring. More info
