CDF is already working on the preparations of a new project – Virtual Dialogues: Voices of Reconciliation- to be launched on the Internet by the end of 2007 or early 2008. This initiative aims at creating a virtual space for respectful dialogue among Cubans who identify with the idea of constructive change based on the principles of non-violence and reconciliation.

This multimedia initiative will progressively produce, collect and disseminate video / audio / written interviews with Cubans living on the island and in the Diaspora who favor dialogue, non-violent change and reconciliation to move forward towards a new paradigm of human sustainable development. A CD with the content of the website will be produced on a yearly basis and distributed in Cuba.

The goal of this project is to use this multimedia and interactive website to assist in stopping and reversing the mutual demonization of “the other” while encouraging and facilitating constructive dialogue and exchanges between individuals (not organizations).

This project will be implemented in partnership with Citizen Digital Facilitation Inc (our sister organization registered in the USA) and Solidaridad de Trabajadores Cubanos (an NGO with charity status registered in the USA that stands for non-violence and reconciliation).
